Venue Research

It can take many hours to find that perfect conference venue.  We have the knowledge, relationships & expertise both domestically & internationally to make your job easy.  It doesn’t matter if your conference is for 10 or 1000 with just one phone call to Creative Conferences, we’ll find a venue that is perfect for you.

We will research and provide a selection of venues that are most suitable for your specific needs. This is provided by us as a complimentary service when a conference is booked. Similar to travel agents, we receive a commission from the venue for providing the business. The advantages are:

  • It costs you nothing
  • You receive unbiased advice
  • We get access to the best rates & conditions through our relationships & expertise
  • Information on venue facilities (audio visual equipment, activities, tours, entertainment etc)
  • It saves you time
  • We arrange for you to view the venue (strongly recommended)

We provide you with a spreadsheet that clearly shows cost comparisons.  We arrange for you to view the venue/s.  After you decide on the venue we will provide advise on contract conditions and attrition clauses and arrange a contract between you and the venue.  We do not enter into the contract or deposit arrangements – these are made between you and the venue.  After introduction to a venue contact, you deal directly with the venue however if you need advise at anytime we are more than happy to accommodate.

Association Management

Creative Conferences & Events has many years experience managing associations & their events.  We currently manage IES the Lighting Society NSW Chapter.  For many years we ran the secretariats of the Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales and the National Speakers Association.  We understand the special needs of associations and oversee every aspect of secretariat duties under our responsibility. 

Managing a large membership consumes enormous quantities of time and expertise. Our inclusion of overheads such as office space, office equipment, hardware & association management software, telephone systems etc. enables the association to do this in the most cost effective way. We provide professional, experienced staff accessible on a daily basis. There are no employer overheads or obligations.  This is of great benefit to the association and assists in lifting its profile.

Fee Structure

Association, Conference, Event & Exhibition Management   
There are a couple of fee structure options available.  You choose the option that best suits your needs. Whichever option you choose, we prefer that our clients sign all contracts with venues and suppliers.  This way there are no hidden costs or liabilities and you know exactly what you are being charged for.

Option One: We estimate a management fee structure based on numbers & components of the event.  Our fees are set in advance to allow you to correctly budget based on the number of expected attendees.  There will be no hidden or unexpected costs at the conclusion of your event.  Payments are scheduled in installments.

Option Two: You are charged an hourly rate for the work specified to be carried out.  The total number of hours to be spent on a task is agreed upon prior to commencement & changes are by written consent. 

Option Three: An agreed percentage of the nett budget.  Payments are scheduled in installments.

We prepare a contract between your company and Creative Conferences & Events Pty Ltd for Project Management Services for all options.  You receive all original invoices and there are no hidden costs.  As is normal industry practice we also receive a commission on accommodation bookings.
